The Institute, at the highest level, is run by the President who officially represents the Institute and by a General Council made up of the President, eight Counselors and a Collaborator – married couple.
At the Regional and Community levels there are Regional and Community Directors, supported by their respective councils.
Responsibility for formation is in the hands of the General Director of Formation and the Regional and Community Delegates of Formation. The Regional and Community Delegates of Formation are directly responsible for formation of regional and community members and work in collaboration with each other, conforming to the directives of the General Director of Formation in harmony with their immediate Directors.
For aspiring members, initial formation lasts for three years. This period of formation ends with Temporary Consecration for the Missionaries and with Temporary Promises for Collaborator–married couples, who are associate members of the Institute.
This is followed by perpetual incorporation into the institute with Perpetual Consecration or Perpetual Promises.
Aspiring members are followed personally by the Delegate of Formation. Permanent members have permanent or continuing formation which consists of annual programs approved by the General Council of the Institute.
Today the Institute is present in Italy, Austria, United States, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
